There is always something to do...

For such a small town, Hope has a variety of offerings for the visitor that finds themselves heading down the 17-mile stretch off the Seward Highway.

We have two professional White River Rafting agencies that will take you down a Class V ride of your life! There is recreational gold mining, either by a guide or on your own. Fishing tours to the famous Kenai River; serious adventures guides that will take you way up North; Espresso shop, three cafe's, live music on the weekends, hand made jewelry and crafts made in Alaska exclusively. We have the famous Resurrection Creek Trail (33-miles to Cooper Landing) or you could find yourself going almost straight up on the Hope Point Trail, or the five-mile hike to Gull Rock or splendid and scenic Twin Lakes hike.

We have a 5-K race in the third week of July in which the proceeds go to all the non-profit entities that support Hope.

So come join us for some fun in our little town--either relaxing, perusing our library or book shed or kicking up your heels with a mason jar of cold beer at the Seaview Cafe and Bar dancing to live music.

It's worth the trip!
